S.P.Durnin’s Crowbar Chronicles

Jake O’Connor has some problems.
His time spent attached to Britain’s S.A.S. still gives him nightmares, his social life is in the toilet, and his best friend is an unrepentant adrenaline junkie.
Unfortunately, just as things finally seem to go his way, decomposing corpses of the recently dead begin rising to gnaw on the living. Now the streets are filled with mindless creatures hungering for only one thing: human flesh. Jake’s unlikely group of survivors needs to make for some kind of refuge, and not get zombified along the way. One question looms large on all their minds however: how to do that without being turned into drooling maggot-heads themselves?
Psychopaths, escaped criminals, and para-military, white-supremacists all stand in their way; not to mention an ever-growing threat from the slowly rotting hordes. If Jake doesn’t want to end up as one of the mobile dead, he’ll need to keep his wits about him.
And his crowbar handy…
Eloise J. Knapp’s Undead Situation
undead10The dead are rising. People are dying. Civilization is collapsing.

When the end finally occurred, everything about it was cinematic. The dead came back and ate people, civilization collapsed, and no one could do a thing.

But Cyrus V. Sinclair couldn’t care less; he’s a sociopath.

Amidst the chaos, Cyrus sits back and contemplates the gore stained streets and screams of his fellow man with little more emotion than one of the walking corpses. With his cache of guns and MREs, he rather likes the idea of hunkering down in his Seattle apartment while the world ends outside.

All is well and good for Cyrus… until he meets up with Gabe, a belligerent annoyance, and the other inconvenient survivors who cramp his style and force him to re-evaluate his outlook on life. It’s Armageddon, and things will definitely get messy.

When remorse drives Cyrus V. Sinclair to abandon his hidden compound, he’s unaware of the new dangers lurking in the zombie-infested world. He’ll have to wade through the vilest remains of humanity and hordes of zombies to settle scores and find the one person who might understand him.

Only this time, it won’t be so easy.

Zombies and unpleasant survivors aren’t the only thing Cyrus has to deal with. Not anymore. His conscience, well-armed fanatics, and a cannibal with a taste for redheads will prove to be his biggest enemies.

Cyrus V. Sinclair. The “V” stands for…

Well, you’ll just have to find out, won’t you?

David Forsyth’s Sovereign Spirit Saga

In Book 1 of the series, the reader is introduced to the primary characters of Scott Allen, his wife Michelle, their children and close friends who are sailing the world on Scott’s luxury mega yacht, the Sovereign Spirit.

A viral outbreak associated with Rabies occurs and tosses Scott into the mix of trying to rescue friends and co-workers and balancing life and space on board the Sovereign Spirit.

Book 2, Flotilla of the Dead, Picking up where “Voyage of the Dead” left off, follow the adventures of Scott, Carl, and other survivors of the zombie apocalypse that occurred on April 1, 2012. The crew and passengers of the Sovereign Spirit continue their mission to rescue other survivors, secure supplies for the growing Survival Flotilla, and search for the cause and cure to the virus that destroyed the world as they knew it.

Book 3, Deluge of the Dead. The 3rd book in the Sovereign Spirit Saga expands the scope of rescue operations and reveals that there are worse threats than undead cannibals facing survivors of the zombie apocalypse. This 100,000 word novel continues the apocalyptic adventure that started with “Voyage of the Dead” and “Flotilla of the Dead” (which should be read in order for full effect).

Follow Scott, Carl and their companions as they struggle to defend a stronghold of civilization in the face of overwhelming odds. You may be surprised at which of the characters you have come to know and love (or hate) fall victim to the apocalypse and you will be shocked at the depths of cruelty and inhumanity to which some of the survivors descend.
